Ashby working together for a brighter future

Team DoJo Dragons Drifters - Soapbox 24

Get ready for a fiery showdown as the Dojo Dragon Drifters Harry, Gary, Andy, Andy & Ellie are gearing up for the Soapbox Challenge with a perfect "What the heck, let's have a blast" soapbox attitude!

Their dragon themed design remains a closely guarded secret, adding to the suspense on the big day.

Hailing from family run Ashby & Coalville Martial Arts, who meet on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at Ashby Hastings Primary school. They offer mixed martial arts classes, including self-defence, for a diverse range of ages (4 - adult).

There will also be a big surprise on the day, as their young Martial Arts students have been busy designing a number plate for the kart as part of a Club competition. The winner will be revealed on race day.

It’s all to raise money for a great local charity, Wishes 4 Kids and the team will be collecting donations on race day.

They have asked for a special shoutout to Ashby Toolbox, Sam Timms at SJT Services, Anthony Haynes from Rothenberger UK, Loughborough Kia and all their creative members who lent a hand in crafting their epic soapbox and its number plate.

Let the laughter roll and the dragon roar!”
